TechFlow news, according to the latest report by New World Wealth and Henley & Partners, the number of global cryptocurrency millionaires surged 95% over the past year, increasing from 88,200 to 172,300. The number of pure Bitcoin millionaires doubled to reach 85,400.
The report also shows that cryptocurrency billionaires have increased to 28, while individuals with over $100 million in crypto assets—so-called "hundred-millionaires"—have risen to 325. This growth is primarily attributed to the launch of Bitcoin ETFs and rising values of other crypto assets.
Since their launch in January this year, Bitcoin ETFs have amassed over $50 billion in assets. The total market capitalization of crypto assets has grown from $1.2 trillion last summer to $2.3 trillion.
According to Forbes data, former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao remains the wealthiest cryptocurrency billionaire for the third consecutive year, with a net worth estimated at $33 billion, followed by Coinbase co-founder Brian Armstrong, valued at $11 billion.
