The address previously purchased 855 bitcoins (around $54.6 million) at $63,878 per coin in July. During the market crash on August 5, he sold 297 bitcoins at a loss (about $15.8 million), and today sold another 300 (approximately $18.25 million), leaving him with 259 bitcoins (worth around $15.74 million). This series of transactions resulted in a total loss of $4.8 million.
Notably, this whale had bought 210 bitcoins (about $13.1 million) at $62,337 per coin on February 29 and March 2, but sold 209 of them at $65,165 just days later on March 6, realizing only a $528,000 profit. On March 14, bitcoin price surged past $73,000.
