TechFlow news: Mina Protocol has announced the completion of a security audit and the official release of its fungible token standard. This standard enables developers to create and manage custom tokens on Mina, unlocking new possibilities for use cases such as real-world assets (RWA), on-chain gaming, and decentralized finance (DeFi).
Prior to launch, the standard underwent rigorous review by Veridise, a leading security auditing firm, and all critical security issues have been resolved.
Key features of the Mina fungible token standard include custom token creation, unique identifiers, supply control, transfer capabilities, and integration with zkApps.
The Mina Foundation invites developers to explore and implement the standard, and will host a dedicated office hour on August 30, 2024, Beijing time, to address technical questions. Developers can access comprehensive guides, API overviews, and sample code through the official documentation to begin building custom token projects on Mina.
