TechFlow news, on August 21, according to Coindesk, BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) has become the first Ethereum ETF to surpass $1 billion in net inflows, leading among 11 issuers. ETHA currently manages over $860 million in net assets, ranking behind only Grayscale’s Ethereum Mini Trust (ETH) and Ethereum Trust (ETHE).
Data shows that ETHA’s net inflows exceed the combined total of the next three ETFs. Fidelity’s FETH has attracted $367 million since its launch on July 23, while Bitwise’s ETHW and Grayscale’s ETH have drawn $310 million and $227 million respectively.
In contrast, Ethereum ETFs as a whole have underperformed Bitcoin ETFs, registering cumulative net outflows exceeding $440 million. BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF has ranked among the top five ETFs for asset inflows in 2024, standing alongside traditional giants such as S&P 500 index ETFs.
