TechFlow reports that on August 21, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) issued a public warning urging caution against ICE Global Professional Station, a suspicious digital asset trading platform suspected of fraud related to virtual assets. The platform offers a mobile application via a specific link (hxxps://icapes[.]com/app) and appears to impersonate the well-known multinational financial services company Intercontinental Exchange Inc. (ICE) by using a similar name and logo.
The SFC disclosed that investors have reported difficulties withdrawing funds after depositing money to invest in cryptocurrency products on the platform. To protect investor interests, the SFC has swiftly taken action by adding the mobile app link of ICE Global Professional Station to its list of suspicious virtual asset trading platforms.
