TechFlow news, the Salvadoran National Bitcoin Office (ONBTC) has announced it will provide Bitcoin training and certification for 80,000 government employees.
The program, called "Certified Public Management 1," spans 160 hours and is divided into seven modules covering various aspects including strategic management of Bitcoin as legal tender and public policy.
Stacy Herbert, Director of ONBTC, said training civil servants will create a "compounding effect" on El Salvador's Bitcoin-driven economy, and more educational initiatives are planned. The certification is implemented by the Higher School of Innovation in Public Administration (ESIAP), aiming to elevate standards of governance and public administration in El Salvador.
