TechFlow reports, citing The Block, that an MEV (Maximum Extractable Value) bot operated by an individual using the pseudonym Jaredfromsubway.eth has recently deployed new arbitrage and sandwich attack strategies, reportedly earning millions of dollars worth of ETH.
According to EigenPhi, an MEV tracking website, since August 14, Jared appears to have abandoned his old contract address in favor of a new one. The new address has processed over 85,000 transactions, generating approximately 765 ETH—nearly $2 million at current prices.
EigenPhi found that Jared is now executing more sophisticated sandwich attacks, including five-layer and seven-layer sandwiches, while simultaneously targeting multiple victims. These attacks involve front-running and back-running ordinary users' transactions to secure better prices for the attacker, leaving regular users with worse execution prices.
