TechFlow news, RISC Zero yesterday announced the introduction of zero-knowledge (ZK) proof technology to the Solana blockchain, now live on testnet. This breakthrough will unlock infinite execution capabilities for Solana, enabling developers to build any application on-chain.
RISC Zero stated that this technology will eliminate on-chain execution limitations, allowing Solana dApps to run complex algorithms involving millions of steps, distribute rewards to millions of users, and process and verify massive datasets.
Additionally, ZK technology will bring new functionalities to Solana such as ZK light clients, compressed DePIN networks, and secure ZK logins. RISC Zero is collaborating with Light Protocol to advance this revolutionary technology, aiming to empower developers, reduce centralization, and redefine the possibilities of blockchains.
Previous report, zero-knowledge proof company RISC Zero raised $40 million in a Series A round led by Blockchain Capital.
