TechFlow news, on August 20, according to The Block, YeagerAI, the company developing decentralized AI network GenLayer, has raised $7.5 million in seed funding. North Island Ventures led the round, with participation from Node Capital, Arrington Capital, ZK Ventures, WAGMI Ventures, BlockBuilders, Maelstrom—the family office of Arthur Hayes—and several angel investors.
The YeagerAI team is pioneering a technical solution called "smart agents," a blockchain-based system that leverages internet-connected large language models (LLMs) to execute functions. GenLayer also incorporates artificial intelligence into its custom delegated proof-of-stake algorithm, which randomly selects a primary validator to propose an output, then four other validators connected to different LLMs vote on it. If the subjective output gains majority approval, the transaction is processed.
