TechFlow news, August 19 — According to The Block, David Hirsch, former head of crypto and cybersecurity at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), has joined the private law firm McGuireWoods. Hirsch previously led the SEC's Crypto Assets and Cyber Unit (CACU) and served in securities enforcement and regulatory advisory practices in Washington, D.C. He played a key role in establishing the SEC's enforcement strategies regarding registration requirements for various crypto asset activities.
