TechFlow news — On August 19, according to official announcements, Tether, the stablecoin issuer, revealed plans to launch USD₮ on the Aptos network. This move forms part of Tether’s broader strategy to expand the global accessibility and utility of digital currencies by leveraging Aptos’ advanced blockchain technology, renowned for its exceptional speed and scalability.
The integration will also enable extremely low gas fees—just a few cents per transaction—making a broad range of use cases economically viable, from microtransactions to large-scale enterprise operations. Through this strategic collaboration, Tether and Aptos harness these transformative capabilities to enhance the usability and accessibility of USD₮, attracting users across diverse economic backgrounds.
