TechFlow news, on August 15, according to Jinshi Data, the number of initial jobless claims in the U.S. for the week ending August 10 decreased by 7,000 to 227,000, the lowest level since early July. This figure was below economists' expectations of 235,000 and marked a revision from the previous week's reading, which was adjusted upward from 233,000 to 234,000.
Despite a recent slowdown in hiring activity, jobless claims fell for the second consecutive week. Additionally, continuing claims for the week ended August 3 declined to 1.86 million, reflecting resilience in the labor market.
