TechFlow news: The DFINITY Foundation has announced a proposal to modify the voting reward calculation method for the Service Nervous System (SNS). The proposal aims to eliminate incentives for creating spam proposals to obtain higher voting rewards and to align SNS voting reward calculations more closely with those of the Network Nervous System (NNS).
DFINITY stated that similar anti-spam measures were implemented in the NNS last year. If this proposal is adopted by the NNS, all SNS communities upgraded to the latest version will begin following the new voting reward rules. DFINITY is seeking community feedback, and unless significant concerns arise, will proceed with implementing this design and proposing a new SNS Governance WASM release to the NNS-W container.
