TechFlow news, on August 13, according to The Block, London-based cryptocurrency custodian Copper has partnered with Hedera to expand institutional access to the HBAR token. Copper will offer custody and staking services for HBAR through its ClearLoop and Connect platforms, providing institutional investors with entry points into DeFi.
Chaired by former UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond, Copper serves over 300 major institutions and crypto trading platforms. This collaboration will enable institutional investors to more easily and securely enter the Hedera ecosystem. The HBAR token will be integrated into Copper's ClearLoop settlement network and will be accessible via the Copper Connect app to DeFi protocols such as Aave.
