TechFlow News, August 13 — According to Nikkei, MUFG Morgan Stanley Securities (MUFG MSS), a joint venture under Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, plans to issue digital securities this year, focusing on digital bonds. The company aims to leverage Morgan Stanley's overseas network to sell Japanese digital bonds to foreign investors in the future.
With the application of blockchain technology, MUFG MSS is actively promoting the issuance and sale of digital securities. All five major domestic face-to-face securities firms in Japan are planning to enter this field, which is expected to expand investment opportunities and product offerings. Due to their low-cost advantages, digital securities are being pushed toward broader adoption among individual investors.
