TechFlow news — On August 12, according to TechCrunch, prediction market Polymarket announced a collaboration with AI search engine Perplexity to display news summaries related to events on its platform. When users click on an event, they will see news summaries generated from Perplexity's search results and can ask questions via an integrated search box. Polymarket is also using Perplexity’s Pages feature to create dedicated hubs showcased on its Discover page. Perplexity stated it will explore further collaborations to enrich content presentation.
Perplexity will use Polymarket’s data, such as election trends, to generate visualizations through its AI platform Tako. Shayne Coplan, founder and CEO of Polymarket, said the partnership aims to deliver high-quality information. Previously, Polymarket partnered with Substack to allow embedding of prediction data and launched Oracle, a Substack newsletter.
