TechFlow news, on August 9, Terence, an Ethereum protocol developer and Prysm maintainer, recently stated on X that Ethereum's future development roadmap is simpler than expected, with the following goals anticipated to be achieved within the next four years:
- Maximize data availability (e.g., peerDAS, fullDAS)
- Enhance censorship resistance (e.g., FOCL)
- Reduce trust in out-of-protocol block building and improve slot utilization (e.g., ePBS)
- Accelerate consensus finality (e.g., Orbit SSF)
- Improve staking user experience (e.g., EIP-7702, EIP-6110, etc.)
- Finalize staking economics
- Limited execution-layer storage
- Statelessness
Realizing these goals will drive Ethereum's continued growth and innovation.
