TechFlow news, August 9 — The Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (SEC) has officially launched its digital asset regulatory sandbox, aiming to promote experimentation and innovative development of digital asset services. The sandbox provides participants with a platform to test their digital asset-related services in real-world environments, driving innovation in the capital market within a flexible regulatory framework.
The sandbox program includes six eligible digital asset-related services: digital asset exchanges, digital asset brokers, digital asset dealers, digital asset fund managers, digital asset advisors, and digital asset custodial wallet providers. Participants are required to integrate their innovations into the development of digital asset services in Thailand's capital market or join the sandbox regulated by monetary authorities.
