TechFlow news, on August 9, according to analysis by OKG Research at OKLink Chain, data from the OKLink blockchain shows that within 24 hours, large BTC outflows (USD 5 million or more) from the blockchain to centralized exchanges totaled 16,178 BTC, while inflows were 0 BTC. Over the past seven days, the net large BTC outflow from the blockchain reached 116,214 BTC. Based on this week's average price, this amounts to approximately USD 6.74 billion, a 3% increase compared to the previous seven-day period.
In addition, the total holdings of the top 100 Bitcoin whales decreased from 15.63% over the previous seven days to 15.55%. The holdings share of the top 10 Bitcoin whales remained unchanged, while the holdings share of the top 20 increased slightly from 8.67% to 8.72%. However, the holdings share of addresses ranked from top 50 to top 100 dropped from 12.63% to 12.56%.
