TechFlow reported on August 9 that former and current employees of Wemade Tree—the developer behind the WEMIX project, now merged into Wemade—have filed a damages lawsuit against Wemade for 16.2 billion KRW (approximately $11.85 million). In an electronic disclosure on August 9, Wemade revealed that 27 employees from Wemade Tree filed the lawsuit on July 29, claiming the company had promised them WEMIX tokens and are now seeking compensation. The amount claimed by the plaintiffs represents 4% of the company's capital. Wemade stated it will respond through legal counsel in accordance with legal procedures.
