TechFlow reports that on August 8, SVM Sonic, the first gaming project on Solana, announced the upcoming launch of its second-phase testnet incentive program. Over the past month, the Sonic testnet has attracted over 1 million active addresses and generated 600 million on-chain transactions.
As the first SVM L2 to achieve atomic interoperability with Solana, the Sonic testnet has deployed eight games, including Solana-native and EVM titles such as Rage Effect, LowLife Forms, and JogoJogo. Leveraging Sonic's innovative scaling framework and infrastructure, these games have enhanced throughput and stability, drawing significant participation from Solana users. The prediction game JogoJogo alone has attracted over 250,000 registered game wallets.
The second-phase testnet will introduce additional flagship games and expand collaborations with key Solana ecosystem projects including Metaplex, Solayer, and Backpack. Additionally, Sonic will implement technical upgrades to its HyperGrid scaling framework by introducing the HyperGrid Shared State Network (HSSN) to improve network performance and security.
