TechFlow news, according to Fox Business, Democratic supporters in the cryptocurrency industry are actively mobilizing to prevent former President Trump from consolidating the crypto vote in this fall's election. A newly formed advocacy group called "Crypto for Harris," supporting Vice President Kamala Harris, plans to host a virtual town hall meeting next week.
Confirmed speakers include left-leaning billionaire entrepreneur and crypto supporter Mark Cuban, SkyBridge Capital founder and Trump critic Anthony Scaramucci, as well as several Democratic members of Congress.
Several Democratic Senate leaders have also been invited to attend the public virtual event, which will discuss strategies to support Harris' campaign and advance fundraising initiatives.
"Crypto for Harris" currently has around 50 members, with key organizers drawn from industry participants and policy experts. Meanwhile, Harris has recently added two former cryptocurrency advisors to her campaign team.
