TechFlow reports that on August 7, data from on-chain analyst Yujin revealed renewed movement of large amounts of ETH from dormant wallets associated with Plus Token, drawing significant attention. According to on-chain analysis, most of this ETH was likely sold in 2021, and the current aggregation consists only of a small remaining portion that was not previously disposed of.
The majority of the 789,534 ETH entered the now-defunct Bidesk exchange via multiple addresses between June and September 2021, and were subsequently transferred to Huobi. In the past 30 hours, approximately 12 addresses have aggregated 25,757 ETH (worth $63.1 million), including some ETH that was not moved to Bidesk in 2021 and other portions withdrawn from Bidesk but not further transferred to Huobi.
Previous report: Hundreds of wallets dormant for over three years moved large amounts of ETH linked to the PlusToken Ponzi scheme.
