TechFlow news — The Uniswap Foundation has released its unaudited quarterly financial summary as of June 30, 2024. The report shows that the Foundation currently holds $36.81 million in cash and stablecoins, along with 680,000 UNI tokens. These funds are expected to last until the end of 2025, with $26.12 million allocated for grant commitments and incentives, and $10.69 million for operating expenses.
In Q2 2024, the Foundation made new grant commitments totaling $3.22 million and disbursed $2.48 million toward previously committed grants.
As of June 30, 2024, the Foundation has cumulatively committed $7.55 million in grants this year, with $5.27 million actually disbursed.
On the operational front, the Foundation incurred $1.6 million in operating expenses during Q2 2024 (excluding UNI token employee rewards), bringing the total operating expenses for the first half of the year to $2.63 million.
In addition, the Foundation generated $190,000 in other income during the quarter, primarily from dividends and interest. Major expense categories include salaries, contracts and professional fees, office expenses, external events, advertising and marketing, and insurance.
