TechFlow reports, according to News.bitcoin, that the New York County District Attorney's Office has posted a job opening for a full-time cryptocurrency analyst to join its Cybercrime and Identity Theft Bureau (CITB) in Manhattan.
The role involves evaluating complaints of cryptocurrency theft, conducting transaction analysis using various tools, and providing expert testimony in legal proceedings.
In addition, the position requires maintaining proficiency in blockchain analysis, liaising with law enforcement agencies, and training other analysts. This critical role aims to combat sophisticated cybercrimes and identity theft, protecting the public from complex digital threats.
