TechFlow reported, according to Cointelegraph, that former U.S. President Donald Trump suggested during a Fox interview that Bitcoin or "crypto checks" could be used to repay the U.S. government's $35 trillion national debt, avoiding an impending debt crisis. "Who knows, maybe we’ll pay off the $35 trillion [national debt], give them a little crypto check, right? We’ll give them some Bitcoin and wipe out our $35 trillion."
Trump reiterated his stance that if the United States does not innovate in digital assets, other countries will.
