TechFlow reported on August 2 that, according to Cointelegraph, Cathie Wood's investment firm ARK Invest has been actively trading in the cryptocurrency market recently, purchasing for the first time $21 million worth of Canadian 3iQ Ether Staking ETF (ETHQ.U), while simultaneously selling $14.6 million worth of shares on Coinbase.
The 3iQ Ethereum Staking ETF has shown significant growth since its launch, rising approximately 40% year-to-date. The fund aims for long-term capital appreciation through investments in ether and generates passive income via staking. ARK purchased 1 million shares and 651,713 shares of ETHQ.U through its ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) and ARK Fintech Innovation ETF, respectively.
