TechFlow reports that Base has announced the winning projects of its global online hackathon, "Onchain Summer." Held from May 31 to June 30, the event attracted over 7,500 developers worldwide who submitted more than 1,250 projects. Due to the overwhelming number and creativity of submissions, Base increased the prize pool from 200 ETH to 250 ETH.
The winning projects span multiple categories including payments, commerce, creator tools, social platforms, gaming, trading, and discovery. Specifically:

Winners in the payment track include BasedCoffee, Slice, and Base Token Store;

Commerce track winners include popshop, ReferWare, and FramePay;

Creator track winners include Feed, anglez.xyz, and Onchain-Experiments_V1.
In addition, Base allocated a 40 ETH reward for successful integrations with smart wallets, OnchainKit, verification systems, and Coinbase Paymaster, and an additional 20 ETH was distributed to hundreds of developers who submitted projects but did not win prizes.
