TechFlow news: BlackRock's USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL) distributed $2.12 million in dividends in July, setting a new monthly record. According to Etherscan data, this marks an increase of approximately 16% compared to the previous month. To date, the BUIDL fund has distributed over $7 million in total dividends, with its monthly dividend yield continuing to rise.
BUIDL is BlackRock’s first tokenized fund issued on a public blockchain, launched on the Ethereum network in March this year. Since its inception, its market value has reached approximately $522 million. According to a representative from Securitize, BUIDL holds the highest-value tokenized U.S. Treasury securities, with a market capitalization exceeding $500 million, and DeFi protocols such as Ondo have begun developing derivative products based on BUIDL.
