TechFlow news — On August 1, according to Bloomberg, Montenegro's appellate court upheld the ruling that Do Kwon, co-founder of Terraform Labs, should be extradited to South Korea, rejecting the U.S. request for extradition. This decision marks the latest development in Montenegro’s handling of competing extradition requests from the United States and South Korea.
The Podgorica court stated that no appeal had been filed against the ruling, which maintains an accelerated extradition process. Do Kwon’s lawyers said Montenegro will cooperate with Interpol to complete the extradition as soon as possible.
