TechFlow News, Ripple has announced a collaboration with Fenasbac, the association of central bank services in Brazil, to advance financial technology innovation in Brazil through the Next accelerator program. The two parties will support the development of scalable financial service solutions utilizing blockchain technologies such as the XRP Ledger.
Ripple will support two fintech companies working in areas including treasury management, asset tokenization, payments, and lending.
Silvio Pegado, Managing Director of Ripple for Latin America, said that Brazil offers a strong ecosystem for blockchain technological advancement and policy innovation.
This marks the second collaboration between the two parties, following a previous joint research initiative with the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and Polkadot on blockchain interoperability solutions for Brazil's digital currency, DREX.
