TechFlow reported, according to Cointelegraph, that Heather Morgan (a.k.a. Razzlekhan) attended the 2024 Nashville Bitcoin Conference, sparking curiosity and controversy among attendees.
Morgan was arrested and pleaded guilty for her involvement in the 2016 Bitfinex hack and is currently awaiting sentencing, which is expected on November 8, 2024.
Bitcoin developer Jameson Lopp expressed skepticism about her attendance, suggesting she might be gathering intelligence for the government or seeking consulting work to pay fines. He urged conference organizers to treat her as a threat and deny her entry. However, this suggestion sparked debate within the community, with some arguing it contradicts the open spirit of the Bitcoin community.
