TechFlow News, July 25 — According to Coindesk, crypto-friendly bank Revolut has obtained a banking license from the UK Prudential Regulation Authority after a three-year application process, entering the "mobilization phase" that allows the new bank to operate under limited conditions. This marks its transition into a fully-fledged UK bank and grants it authorization to provide cryptocurrency services. Revolut has long supported cryptocurrency trading and recently launched a standalone exchange tailored for experienced traders. Additionally, Revolut plans to sell $500 million worth of employee shares, with the company's valuation expected to rise to $45 billion.
