TechFlow news, on July 25, according to the Nikkei, Japanese financial giant SBI Holdings will partner with U.S. investment management firm Franklin Templeton to establish a new asset management company focused primarily on digital assets by the end of this year. The new company's ownership structure will be 51% held by SBI Holdings and 49% by Franklin Templeton.
As the U.S. lifts restrictions on ETFs investing in crypto assets such as Bitcoin, Japan is also preparing for potential regulatory easing. SBI Holdings is an integrated financial services company operating across securities, banking, insurance, and asset management sectors.
