Normal trading is expected to resume approximately 30 seconds after the upgrade completes. dYdX advises users to plan accordingly for potential delays and downtime.
Prior news indicated that the dYdX community initiated an on-chain vote on July 19 regarding whether to upgrade the dYdX Chain protocol software to v5.1.0, with voting concluding on July 23, 2024 at 23:02. The proposed upgrade includes performance optimizations, Slinky updates, and Vault UX improvements. If approved, the software upgrade will be executed at block height 21,420,000.
