TechFlow news, on July 24, Blast ecosystem DEX MonoSwap issued a warning on X, stating that it had been hacked and urging users not to add liquidity or stake. If users have any staked positions, they should withdraw immediately to avoid financial loss.
According to reports, the incident occurred when one of MonoSwap's developers installed a phishing application during a call with fake venture investors. The attackers thereby gained access to the developer’s office PC, which was connected to all MonoSwap-related wallets and contracts. Subsequently, the hackers withdrew most of the staked liquidity, causing severe damage to the protocol.
MonoSwap emphasized that users must avoid clicking any links related to phishing applications, especially provided download links. Currently, the team is actively investigating the attack and will soon announce a follow-up action plan.
