TechFlow reports that cross-chain interoperability protocol Router Protocol has announced the upcoming mainnet launch of Router Chain. Prior to this, the project will launch its StakeDrop staking incentive program this week.
The program introduces the DROP points system to calculate user rewards, employing a time-weighted model with daily compounding interest. The migration from old $ROUTE to new $ROUTE will occur at a 1:33.33 ratio, with the new omnichain $ROUTE token enabling seamless bridging with Router Chain.
During the 90-day campaign, early participant bonuses and long-term staking incentives will be implemented, along with planned token airdrops for ecosystem projects.
Router Protocol stated that this staking initiative marks a significant step in its transition toward a decentralized Layer 1 blockchain. Detailed participation guidelines will be released upon the start of the event.
