TechFlow news, according to a RootData report, the Web3 primary market recorded 418 funding events in Q2 2024, raising a total of $2.75 billion, an increase of 38.9% year-on-year. Infrastructure projects raised $1.016 billion, driven by large funding rounds from multiple L1 and L2 projects; DeFi projects raised $326 million, while social projects raised $227 million. Animoca Brands made 36 investments in Q2, becoming the most active investment firm, while OKX Ventures decreased its activity from 30 investments in Q1 to 25 in Q2.
