TechFlow news: South Korean gaming company Wemade plans to sell its shares in subsidiary Lightscale and step down from its position as major shareholder.
Lightscale is a South Korean blockchain project developer that launched the Chroma blockchain mainnet last year. The sale is being interpreted as part of Wemade's effort to scale back its blockchain operations. Despite the shareholder change, Lightscale still plans to issue the Coin Cro virtual asset in the third quarter. Wemade officials stated, "We cannot confirm" the sale plan.
