TechFlow reports that the Department of Justice (DOJ) of the Philippines has filed criminal charges against two Russian nationals for allegedly stealing XRP cryptocurrency worth 340 million pesos (approximately $6.2 million). The defendants, Vladimir Evgenevich Avdeev and Sergey Yaschuck, former advisors to Coins.ph, are accused of hacking into the system and stealing 12.2 million XRP. Justice Secretary Jesus Remulla emphasized the DOJ's commitment to upholding the rule of law in cyberspace.
