TechFlow news, the temperature check proposal for "2024 Aave Events and Sponsorship Grants" initiated by Aave Labs is nearing its voting deadline. Currently, 96.89% of votes are in favor. The proposal aims to strengthen the culture of the Aave Protocol, share technical knowledge, and attract new community members.
Aave Labs has requested 650,000 GHO in funding to support events for the remainder of 2024, including EthCC in Brussels (45%) and Devcon in Bangkok (55%). Key activities include hackathons, Open Finance Day, side events, and rAAVE events.
Aave Labs will cover all expenses for its team members; these costs and any compensation for Aave Labs’ work are not included in this proposal. If approved, the proposal will proceed to the AIP stage.
