TechFlow reports that Coinbase (COIN) has announced the launch of a new app designed to simplify how users manage their on-chain wallets and activities. The app allows users to connect multiple wallets and perform actions such as buying, selling, swapping, sending, staking, or minting. Users can also interact with each other.
Coinbase noted that many people currently rely on manual spreadsheets and juggle multiple browser tabs to track their assets comprehensively, making the management of multiple crypto wallets particularly challenging. The new app will be available on both desktop and mobile devices and is compatible with smart wallets.
Other wallet providers like Exodus have also launched similar products aimed at attracting less tech-savvy investors. For Coinbase, this new app represents another step toward its goal of becoming a "super app" akin to China's WeChat.
