TechFlow news — On July 11, according to an official blog post, Tether announced that, effective September 1, 2025, it will no longer be obligated to accept redemptions of USDT or EURT on Omni, Kusama, SLP, EOS, and Algorand. Tether will freeze all remaining USDT and EURT tokens on these blockchains as of September 1, 2025. Tether customers holding USDT or EURT on these networks should redeem their holdings as soon as possible, or request issuance of USDT or EURT on a supported blockchain in accordance with the terms of service. Non-customer holders may migrate their USDT or EURT holdings to a supported blockchain via available service providers, subject to the provider's terms.
