TechFlow reported on July 10 that Worldcoin announced the introduction of a WLD token reservation mechanism shortly after its launch in July 2023. This mechanism allows users who have not yet completed verification to reserve WLD tokens for redemption at a future date. The initiative aims to enable as many people as possible to participate in the Worldcoin project, regardless of orb device availability. The announcement further stated that the original deadline for claiming these tokens, July 31, 2024, has now been extended by one year to July 31, 2025.
