TechFlow reported, according to CoinDesk, that crypto-backed cloud storage platform Storj has announced the acquisition of high-performance cloud computing provider Valdi, adding graphics processing unit (GPU) computing capabilities for its enterprise customers. The acquisition amount has not been disclosed. Storj said the move aims to address GPU shortages driven by growing demand in the AI market by enabling customers to access available GPU computing resources from data centers around the world.
