TechFlow news — On July 9, according to official announcement, Web3 identity layer idOS has completed a $4.5 million funding round led by Fabric Ventures, with participation from Arbitrum, Circle Ventures, RippleX, NEAR Protocol, GnosisDAO, Aleph Zero, Radix, and Tezos. This funding also marks the establishment of the idOS Alliance, which aims to develop the Web3 identity layer and promote the adoption of decentralized identity across the Web3 ecosystem.
idOS is a decentralized data storage and access management protocol designed to provide an identity layer for dApps, streamline compliant user onboarding, and reduce friction. Users maintain control over their data and decide with whom to share it. idOS aims to enable everyday DeFi applications through OpenFi and drive mainstream adoption of Web3 infrastructure.
