TechFlow reports that 23pds, Chief Information Security Officer at SlowMist, posted on X stating that Authy, the second most popular two-factor authentication (2FA) service after Google Authenticator, has been hacked, resulting in the exposure of phone numbers belonging to 33 million users.
The vulnerability has been confirmed by Twilio, Authy's official developer. Given that a large number of individuals in the cryptocurrency industry use this 2FA application, users are urged to remain vigilant against phishing attacks and ensure the security of their assets.
