The hackers sent 35,794 emails impersonating the Foundation, claiming a collaboration with LidoDAO offering 6.8% staking rewards, and directing users to click on malicious links. The Foundation quickly blocked the attack vector and confirmed no users suffered cryptocurrency losses as a result.
