TechFlow reported, according to The Block, that Layer 1 blockchain platform Chromia plans to launch the minimum viable product (MVP) version of its mainnet on July 16 to establish core network functionality. Chromia aims to make building Web3 applications easier through its SQL-like programming language, Rell.
The mainnet will bridge its native token CHR for core functions such as staking delegation and network hosting fee payments. CHR is an Ethereum ERC-20 token and a BEP-20 asset on BNB Chain. Chromia co-founder Alex Mizrahi said the mainnet launch is not only a technical milestone but also the beginning of something with tremendous potential.
