TechFlow News — According to official announcements, Lido has launched the testnet for its Community Staking Module (CSM). The CSM aims to enhance decentralization and democratize Ethereum staking by allowing any node operator to run validator nodes using the Lido protocol. The testnet will roll out in two phases: an early adoption phase and an open phase. The early adoption phase has already begun, with the open phase expected to launch in mid-July, opening access to all node operators.
The Community Staking Module (CSM) is an initiative by Lido DAO designed to strengthen decentralization and make Ethereum staking more accessible, enabling any node operator—especially community stakers—to participate permissionlessly and operate validators via the Lido protocol.
